Because of this, deGRANDSON Global has reviewed its ability to provide tuition and support services during this unprecedented health crisis. Delivery of Courses
All of our courses are delivered via our Learning Management System. This is provided by Inquisiq (ICS Learning Group, Pasadena, MD) from local cloud-based servers. They have had zero downtime over the past 5 years. Additionally, we can host our courses on Adobe Captivate Prime with a two-day notice as a fallback.
Provision of other Services
Our website, degrandson.co.uk, which carries the Support Ticket system and Tutor Support, is hosted by ISP SiteGround on AWS servers. These servers are located in the Netherlands. Again, zero downtime since we began using their service 3 years ago.
Maintaining the 24/7 Support Ticket system
The biggest risk factor for a company trying to operate their business as usual is the possibility that several persons may contract the virus simultaneously. Usually, this can lead to a disruption of service.
This does not apply to deGRANDSON Global as all of its staff members work remotely. For example, we have staff working from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Cyprus, and the Philippines. Because of this, there’s less than a 20 percent chance that several of us would have to lie low simultaneously.
Maintaining 24/7 Tutor Support
As with the Support Ticket system, we are confident that we can maintain support here throughout the pandemic.
